Struck by the disparity in access to high-quality deals during his early years on Wall Street, Joseph has made it his mission to democratize institutional private equity.

Prior to founding ALTI, he began his career in the Principal Funding Group at Goldman Sachs and the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley. Joseph is a member of the Kairos Society and serves on the board of directors of SuitUp Incorporated. He holds a B.B.A from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Sheryl founded TIAA-CREF’s Alternative Investment Group and during her tenure grew the portfolio to $13 billion in AUM through investments in private equity funds, direct co-investments, mezzanine debt, and timber. More recently, Sheryl has served as Managing Director at Caspian Private Equity and Senior Managing Director at Perseus.

She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Fordham Business School, and is a board member of Cartesian Growth II, the Women’s Association of Venture and Equity (WAVE), and Peracs Advisory Board. Sheryl received her B.S. and M.B.A. from NYU’s Stern School of Business.

Cynthia serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and In House Counsel for ALTI. She brings to the team over 20 years of diverse compliance experience.

Before joining ALTI, Cynthia was the CCO of alternative investment firm Altegris for its Broker/Dealer, Registered Investment Advisor, Commodity Pool Operator, and Altegris KKR Commitments Fund, a ‘40 Act registered Interval Fund. Prior to Altegris, Cynthia also served as CCO for Crabel Capital Management, a commodity pool operator, and CCO for FATTOC, LLC, a proprietary high frequency trading firm. She started her compliance career in 2001 at American Express Financial Advisors.

Cynthia received her B.A. in Political Science from New York University and her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. She has been a member of the New York Bar in good standing since 1997 and the California Bar since 2011.

John has over 35 years of investment experience and is currently a Vice President with CenturyLink Investment Management (“CIM”), a subsidiary of Lumen Technologies. He co-directs CIM’s Investment Strategy & Implementation Team which is responsible for designing, constructing, and managing the investment portfolios that support Lumen’s pension plans. These portfolios invest in a diverse range of public and private asset classes, including alternatives such as private equity and private credit. John is a member of CIM’s Leadership Team and Investment Committee. Prior to joining CIM in 2007, he worked at TIAA-CREF and Irving Trust.

Prior to founding Shinrun Advisors, a private markets consultancy to general and limited partners and entrepreneurs, Holly invested and managed a significant portion of TIAA-CREF’s multi-billion dollar portfolio in private equity funds, co-investments and direct mezzanine debt. During her fifteen years with TIAA-CREF’s Alternative Investments team, Holly served on numerous LP advisory committees and portfolio company boards (the latter as an observer). She also was a board member and co-manager of the TIAA-CREF Distressed Opportunity Fund, a $150 million fund of funds raised by TIAA-CREF and a third-party institutional investor to create a specialty portfolio of distressed strategy private equity funds beginning in 2009. Holly received a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School, a Master of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan.

Lee is a recently retired Managing Director at American Securities where he helped build and lead the American Securities Resources Group, one of the largest PE operating teams in the industry. Lee is currently an independent consultant and Senior Advisor to American Securities. In addition, Lee is Chair of the Board of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, the largest colon cancer fighting organization in United States. Lee also spent six years at McKinsey & Co. and prior to that was an attorney at Weil in New York City.

Deidre was the Chief Marketing Officer of Bloomberg, L.P from 2013 to 2021, working with the international financial information and news leader since 2009. Prior to that, she spent thirteen years at International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), serving in several capacities, including Vice President of Worldwide Advertising and Interactive, and Vice President of Worldwide Brand. Deirdre currently is on the board of directors of Shutterstock, Wix.com, Taboola, and Sportradar.

Michael is Managing Director and Co-Founder of Tallwoods Partners, LLC, an investment office for high-net-worth families. From 1995 to 2013, he was with William Harris Investors, Inc. (WHI), a family office managing over $1 billion, serving as Executive Vice President since 2000, and heading the Alternatives Investment Group. From 1991 through 1995, Michael served as an associate in the corporate department of the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York.

Ryan Feit is the Co-Founder of SeedInvest, a platform that changed early-stage startup financing in the United States. As CEO of SeedInvest, Feit scaled the platform to over 700,000 investors and funded over 500 startups. Ryan was instrumental in the passage of the 2012 JOBS Act, which changed 80-year-old U.S. securities laws to make it possible for entrepreneurs to raise capital over the Internet. Prior to founding SeedInvest, Ryan worked at Wellspring Capital Management and Lehman Brothers where he invested in, financed, and managed dozens of private and public businesses.

Stephen is an independent private investor. Until 2020, he was President and a co-founder of BlueMountain Capital Management, a diversified alternative asset management firm. BlueMountain managed peak assets of $23 billion, employed over 300 professionals and established offices in New York, London and Tokyo. Over the course of 17 years, Stephen designed and led all of BlueMountain’s business management functions, including strategy and business development, sales/marketing/IR, finance, legal, compliance and human capital. Prior to co-founding BlueMountain, he was a Senior Consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he worked with leading financial services institutions in NYC, London, Zurich and Tel Aviv.

Nicholas holds 30 years of entrepreneurship experience in financial services and currently serves as the Founder & Managing Partner at New End Associates. In 1990, he started a French advisory firm Exane and sold a 50% interest in the firm to BNP Paribas in 2000. From there, he joined Oaktree Capital and built its non-US business from scratch. Nicolas left Oaktree in 2013 and to establish New End Associates in 2018 to focus on primary fundraising, co-investments and capital solutions.
